As we all can see, our third month (July 15 - August 14, 2013) of 2013 Membership and Shareship has continued to trend toward the West, with both the Pacific and Mountain regions increasing their allocations.
This month, the West captured an additional 7.8% and 6.7% of Membership and Shareship, respectively. While the Pacific subregion made modest gains, it was the Mountain region that set the pace for the West's growth with a 5.6% increase in Membership and a 4.6% increase in Shareship.
Due to the gains in the West, the East's Membership allocations decreased by 6.2% while Shareship decreased by 5.5%. The South once again remained quiet while only surrendering small percentages to the gains of the West.
The Glasshaus Community has grown quite nicely over our first 3 months of operation but we are still behind our monthly projections.
If you have been wanting to join, now's the time to take full advantage of the Pre-Harvest 20% Member Discount. Due to costs incurred once harvest begins (Est. Oct 1, 2013), the Pre-Harvest Member Discount drops to only 10%. Purchase your shares here while supplies last.
I'd like to thank everyone that came out to support music in Petaluma schools and who stopped by to try our 2011 Dry Creek Zinfandel at the Petaluma Music Festival. It was a pleasure to meet you all and I am very happy that you all enjoyed our wine. Here's where you can find us for the rest of the month.
August News Digest
True to our DNA, we read dozens of articles and blog posts daily on wine and mentoring. We share the vast majority of them in real time through Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and Tumbler. Every month, however, we digest the most interesting stories and share them with you here.
OK, that was a little self-serving. Now on to some other wine news that you can use.
