With the exception of monthly barrel topping regimens and bottling wines from previous vintages, winter is a quiet time around the winery. It's a perfect time to work on your new logo, messaging and bottle design.
For those of you who complimented us on our initial logo, Thank You! My dear friend, Jenny Doll of Jenny Doll Design was very generous with her time and her talents to throw something together for us under the 'I need it tomorrow, Jenny. Pretty Please!' deadline. (Thank you again Jenny. You Rock!) But, it was time to think deeper about our identity.
So, we set out to create a clean, modern design that reflected our community focus, minimalist approach to winemaking and transparent practices. This is what emerged. I think we nailed it! What do you think?
(I am eternally grateful to everyone who contributed to this effort. Many, many thanks!)
New Tagline, Same Greater Purpose
What do you do when you discover that your tagline has been claimed by a box wine company? You create an even better one. Before we received the cease and desist letters, we put our wine-thinking caps (slightly enhanced versions of your basic thinking cap) on and created Great Wine. Greater Good.™
But, we didn't stop there. We dug deep to express the core of Glasshaus' existence. Behold, the Great Wine. Greater Good.™ Manifesto.
Yes, sadly, we must close 2013 Membership at the end of this month, Friday, January 31st @ 11:59pm. Take advantage of the 20% discount on what is widely agreed to be a great vintage in California. You can buy your shares and join the community here.
2013 wines will still be available for purchase (at retail) but, new member discounts will no longer be available.
All the best,
