One of the drawbacks of becoming a winemaker is that it becomes impossible to drink a wine without analyzing it first. Not in the qualitative, 100 Point System sense, but in a quantitative approach to deconstruct a wine into it's constituent parts. It is the sum of these parts which gives a wine it's shape. Allow me to explain...

So, in my relentless pursuit to perfect my craft, I continually seek out and analyze the best Pinot Noir and Chardonnay that the Sonoma Coast (and the world) has to offer.
